Perfect Wing Stroke Tutorial

Feel free to leave a wordpress comment or contact me on Facebook if you need any assistance with this tutorial! Enjoy~!

Wing Brush

Step One

Define the wing brush. Then, stamp it onto your canvas. Mine is small to save space in the tutorial, but this is my width of my signs so it would fit that (as you will see later).

Step two

Hold ctrl and click on the little preview box in the layers palette between the eye and the name of the layer. When you do that, it should select your brush.

Go to Select > Modify > Expand and change it to 2px. Hit ok.

Step three

Make a new layer and drag it underneath your wings layer. Then, fill this layer with your gradient.

& you’re done

Add a drop shadow to your gradiented layer and that’s it. This is a cute effect on signs, and can be done with any type of wing brush. It was requested so I added it up for you guys.
